GI Specialists of Georgia was formed on Oct 1, 2007 by the merger of Northwest Georgia Gastroenterology Associates and Digestive Care Associates. We are currently a group of 21 gastroenterologists covering multiple hospitals and staffing outpatient facilities in the Atlanta metro counties of Cobb, Douglas, Paulding and Cherokee. Northwest Georgia Gastroenterology Associates was a group of nine board certified gastroenterologists in the metro Atlanta area. Our physicians are experts in the evaluation and treatment of digestive and liver disease. We are committed to remain on the forefront of medical care by utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and provide the latest treatment options in a caring and cost efficient manner.My office is located at 61 Witcher Street, Suite 3100 in Marietta, Georgia across from Kennestone Hospital. Office hours are 9 AM to 5 PM Monday thru Friday with 24-hour physician coverage for emergencies. I admit to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Endoscopic procedures are performed at WellStar Kennestone Hospital, GI Diagnostics Endoscopy Center near Windy Hill Hospital and Marietta Surgery Center.
